HootSuite is product we often favor for some of our clients, and we’ve recommended it hundreds of times to others. It’s a way to track your social engagement. Not just Facebook and Twitter, but all kinds of sites, even Â bookmarking sites like Digg or Trendspotr. AND it is only $5.95 a month. So now there are no budget excuses for not tracking your social effectiveness.
3. When you want to sort lots of data: Parse.ly Dash
Parse.ly Dash is a “predictive dashboard” for your website and also watches trends in what everyone else is talking about and reading. Â You can then choose to post and discuss hot topics currently relevant to your target demographics. The key word for the analytics is “parse.” You can parse data in hundreds of different ways to find what works on your site and what doesn’t. This one is pricey, about $500 month, but worth every penny if you are actually using the information.
